Conventions of music videos

In a lesson we talked about what typical conventions music videos have. These are some of the conventions that most music videos follow:

MTV cutting- where the editing matches the beat.
lip sync
sex appeal- gender affects this style
narrative/mini movie approach- compressed narrative
multiple locations, situation and costume
in concert-'live' footage
the purpose- promote band/song
challenging or using existing tropes and memes
symbolism
artifical performance- non-naturalistic (eg. classical music bursts into song
choreography

I will be working in film for the A2 course. There are 3 main tasks in which i have to choose one of them. The three are:
